Strawberry bellies

Ready to pick-n-eat some strawberries

We went strawberry picking last Memorial Day weekend, too! Kira is twice as big and has twice as much hair.

When we got home from picking berries, Max ran to the pool while Kira took a nap

Their sibling love is as strong as their personalities

Night night

Max drew a beautiful rainbow and he wrote everyone's name on in

Beach babes

We went to North Beach on the last weekend of summer last year so it was only fitting that we go back the first summer of this year.  Max could not wait (he was out of bed screaming to leave at 6:00am- thanks, clock) to get back to every detail he remembered from last summer, especially the pirate ship.  Kira could not crawl/walk/scoot the last summer and she had a blast with her new found mobility!

Max and his suit grew since last summer

Daddy buried the babies and they loved it!

This ball of energy cannot stand the car.  Apparently it is genetic, as this was the first long-ish car ride that Max maintained  his composure.  It was only one hour and ten minutes, guys!

Max is belting out, "Circle of Life"

Kira built herself a sand bed

This is what five hours at the beach looks like.

This is what a double 45 minute cat nap looks like.

Breaking out the baby pool

Baby bathing suit season has arrived!

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish, all the fish...

No shortage of sunglasses at our house!  Max was at a basketball game with daddy, so we had some girl time lounging by the pool.

Max pic-o-the-day: refusing to get out of bed when his clock was actually green, because he was so tired from waking up circa 6am.  He has a few more days of 'pink eye' drops and he hates (screams and kicks bloody murder) for each and every three drops daily.  Tonight, however, he told daddy (in his foe teenager voice), "Oh, hey dad, I love eye drops it's so fun when you put drops in my eyes".

Take her out to the ballgame

Get me on that field!

Sometimes baseball can be a bit boring...

Max was so excited for his tball game so we wore his uniform to school

Max busted out at 6am, but was coaxed back into his room where he waited until his clock actually turned green at 6:30.

Bed head

Kira enjoys working on her hair brushing technique, but sometimes she gets 'brush your hair' confused with [her favorite thing ever] 'brush your teeth'.

"It's green!"  It is!

Nope, not a doggie.

Little Kira needs some wheels

Always running after her brother

So happy that Kira is feeling all better today!
