So many menorahs

All she wants for Hanukkah is to walk.  Six more nights...

We are on the second night of Hanukah and we have no less than five menorahs.

Happy Hanukah!

This twin track suit photo op is courtesy of Aunt Arielle's Hanukah package.  As soon as Max saw these outfits he insisted on putting them on AND going for a walk in them.  Kira kept her pjs on underneath to stay warm, while Max lied through his clattering teeth that he was not cold.

Max wrote his name all over this chalk mat.  He also asked to learn how to draw a heart.

Thank you, Dolphin Tale 2, for this afternoon nap.  Unfortunately his sisterly counterpart only naps 45 minutes per day so this bliss was shortly interrupted.

Another day, another menorah made by Max.  He made a Lego menorah at a Hanukah party and did a great job counting out the types of Legos and following the directions to assemble it.

He made a Lego dreidel, too.  Next up, an Ikea dresser!

Very serious about his crafts

It was all about the Legos and crafts until Max found the gym!

Max wanted to a turn at the microphone (karaoke), but instead of selecting a Hanukah song from the list, he asked to sing God Bless America.  In an interesting case of stage fright (there was not a stage or any real audience) Max did not actually sing.  He just stood there holding the mic while the music played in the background.  He sort of moved his lips, yet insisted that he sang the whole song.  It was pretty much the sweetest non-performance ever.
