I brush teeth!

As soon as Max wakes up in the morning he runs out of his room and makes a mad dash to brush his teeth.  Here is to good habits!

Spring league ball

Max could not be happier to be back at a basketball game

Max must have learned about the letters Q, R, S today because he kept asking me, "How do you spell qrs?" and trying to write it down.

Another day, another bounce house

Max woke up bright and early this morning so that he would have plenty of time to play at Clemyjontri Park.  Waiting for the carousel to open was rough, but arriving early helped us get a great parking spot.

Max loves Chipolte

Max was first in line when the horses woke up at 9:30 am

Bouncing birthday bash

Max had a blast bouncing and sliding at Emma's 2nd birthday party.  The weather was spectacular and he left with two balloon creations- a Pawley and a sword to "pow pow".

We went to the playground after nap and Max was extremely excited to change into "daddy's shorts".  Unlike the boxers he tried on the other night, these shorts were actually his, but they certainly do look familiar.

Max's favorite food group- cupcakes.

Daddy's shorts!

Rain rain

Max happily sang, "Rain, rain, go away" while it poured this afternoon.  When we left the mall tonight he asked, "Where did the rain rain go?"

Max does not care that it is raining! It's Friday!

Daddy picked out some Kevin Durant Nikes for Max

Twins

Is Max ready to go right from diapers to boxers? They are a little too big.

Farmers Market Wednesdays are back!

The farmers market re-opened today so Max braved the insane winds to sink his teeth into a few apples and see some old friends.

Yankee hat

Max asks for his Yankee hat every morning.  He likes to wear a hat just like his daddy.

He was also very funny this evening in the bath.  "Swimming" in the bath has become common, but tonight Max told me he needed a swim diaper.  That would have been helpful when he went number two in the tub last week, but probably not necessary every night.

Wild man on wheels

Max was entranced watching the older girls ride scooters at the playground this afternoon.  He joined in the fun, but unfortunately none of the girls were wearing helmets, so Max naturally refused his.  With both parents running along side (and holding on to him), he was almost completely protected, but still fell and scrapped his finger.  Max hates band aids, so instead he complained about his injured thumb all night, and jammed it in the face of everyone on our block.   Maybe next time he will wear a helmet- on his thumb.

Just hanging out

Egg-cellent Easter

Max woke up in his own bed this morning and immediately fell back into his old routine- changing Pawley's diaper.  The weather was beautiful and Max enjoyed the fresh air at two egg hunts.  He also impressed on the playground by climbing up the rock wall and another challenging ladder all by himself for the first time.  Chocolate eggs must work wonders for the body.

I found it mommy!

Here Gracie

Look what I got!

Max cleaned up at the egg hunt

Turns out Max is not a fan of dark chocolate.  So he spit it out- on Cecelia's dress.  She handled it like a champ, but Max wanted "other chocolate".

The real Pawley!  And Sadie! What a great day!

Max loves baby Tessa!  He talked about "Sadie's sister" the whole car ride home.

Max found more eggs at Sadie and Tessa's house.  At this point he realized the eggs have candy in them.  That slowed down the hunt and increased the snack breaks.

Bye bye New York

Max cracked himself up by fake snoring on the way home.  The comedy act continued with Max screaming, "I want to go to the bagel store and I want a bagel with butter on it!" Sometime around 9:30pm the giggles ceased and the real snoring began.

Luckily Max didn't climb out of the pack and play until the last day of our trip.  Even more lucky, he took a solid couch nap.

Easter Bunny love

Max waited an hour for some face time with the Easter bunny.  His idea.

We also went to an indoor play gym with bounce houses, slides, and rides.  Max quickly figured out that the rides required money and when his parent's funds ran out, he walked up to other moms and dads asking them for more money.

Max really Ioves the Easter bunny.

Thank goodness for indoor pools on this cold Spring day!
