It was a beautiful day on the lake, but the ajacent water park was an enormous distraction [constant source of complaining].
He worked so hard (for a few seconds)
This little actor said he could not see without his glasses.
He wanted his own real glasses, but was forced to settle for sunglasses with the lenses popped out. He cried about not having real glasses for a large part of the day but by bedtime he was satisfied.
