Breakfast to go

Everyone was pretty happy to get back to the regular routine this morning, mostly because it involved waffles.

The best way to start the week- blowing a goodbye kiss

While Max went to t-ball practice the girls snuck away to the kiddie pool.  Kira was not a big fan and preferred playing with the toys and her towel outside the water.

Pretty sure she thought that Max and daddy were carrying on in the big pool without her.

Third day of the weekend

Third morning of not sleeping in this long weekend

Looking for friends to play with, but they are probably all asleep.

Get me in this tree!

No nuggets left behind for this girl.  We took full advantage of Chick fil A being open on this "foe Sunday" and found one with a play area.  Kira was positively focused on eating every last nugget while watching Max play.

"Oh! They have a playground because they already have enough space to make all the chicken!"  Yep!

He just gave her a little help down the slide.

Max asked his friend if kindergarten was like a real garden.

"Flower!"  Kira (and her Max face) is saying (SCREAMING) so much!

Strawberry bellies

Ready to pick-n-eat some strawberries

We went strawberry picking last Memorial Day weekend, too! Kira is twice as big and has twice as much hair.

When we got home from picking berries, Max ran to the pool while Kira took a nap

Post-nap snack and strawberry goatee
Their sibling love is as strong as their personalities

Night night

Max drew a beautiful rainbow and he wrote everyone's name on in

Kira loves teepee life

Beach babes

We went to North Beach on the last weekend of summer last year so it was only fitting that we go back the first summer of this year.  Max could not wait (he was out of bed screaming to leave at 6:00am- thanks, clock) to get back to every detail he remembered from last summer, especially the pirate ship.  Kira could not crawl/walk/scoot the last summer and she had a blast with her new found mobility!

Max and his suit grew since last summer

Daddy buried the babies and they loved it!

This ball of energy cannot stand the car.  Apparently it is genetic, as this was the first long-ish car ride that Max maintained  his composure.  It was only one hour and ten minutes, guys!

Max is belting out, "Circle of Life"

Kira built herself a sand bed

This is what five hours at the beach looks like.

This is what a double 45 minute cat nap looks like.
