First week as a family of four

A full week has flown by since Kira was born, a fact almost as crazy as her being born yet at all.  From falling in love with a newborn all over again to watching Max transform into a big brother, the last seven days have been just wonderful. 

Every morning since Kira came home, Max wakes up and runs into our room to see her.  There could not be a better way to start the day.  We are, however, still in search for a better way to end the [Max's] day.

Kira's "yucky penis" fell off right before Max's eyes.  He was very happy that is was gone.

Kira got a visit from Diane, who brought her so many sentimental gifts that belonged to her daughter, including a super comfortable glider.  Clearly Kira loves it! 

Max chowed down on this yummy gift from mommy's friends at school.  And just like mommy, he went straight for the chocolate covered strawberries, insisting, "I need them!".
