Plain clothes Power Ranger

Max begged for a black "rubber" jacket so he could wear the same outfit that the red Power Ranger wears to school.  Although it feels like summer, this plain clothes ranger wore his jacket all day long

Kira loves daddy!

She also loves pumpkins, but sadly the pumpkins that she was running excitedly towards are gone. They were eaten by a raccoon in broad daylight as Max looked on screaming, "I DIDN'T KNOW RACCOONS ARE REAL!!!"

Falls like summer

It was about 90 today and no one was complaining, but it would be great if the mosquitoes could leave  now.

Kira belts out Circle of Life like only the General's sister could.

Max asked poignant questions during our Power Ranger snuggle sesh.

Field trip

Max's class went to Cox Farms and spent the afternoon on a hay ride and zooming down slides.

Watching Spider-Man sing Wheels on the Bus.  It is pretty much a reality show.

Kira absconded with the class snack!  At least she shared with Max.

Super hero leaf collecting mission

Kira says

"I love you"

Kira said [repeated/mimicked] "I love you" tonight.  She was eating a huge chunk of bread, that is probably what she was talking to.  

"Not nice!"

Kira plays with her Little People figures and has them hit each other, followed by her saying, "NOT NICE!" over and over.

"I love you!"

Surprise!  Max brought Logan home from school!

Parking lot pumpkin patch

Pumpkins just might be good luck.  After a pit stop at the grocery store parking lot pumpkin stand, Max and Kira were pretty good little pumpkins themselves!  "I'm being so good, right!?!" Max checked all evening.  He was!  We might be stopping at this pumpkin stand more often.

A quick stop for mums turned into a fun activity for Max and Kira. 

Max was so proud of Kira for lifting the pumpkin herself

"She did it!" said Max, while Kira turned around to grab a few more.

"I'm so strong!" Max said.  He even let his eager sister assist with the second plant.

"Oh my gosh this is a snake pumpkin!"   Max even tried to put it around his neck a la a real snake charmer. 

Kira only wanted to water her foot.  Max identified all of the brown plants.

Max had a full day of gardening.  His school garden got flooded so the kids drained it.  Better at school than at home!

Paper pumpkin!  No wonder Kira was so excited about seeing the real pumpkins after school.

Trekking to Tot Shabbat in the rain.  Max brought his passport that he made in school just in case we made a last minute jaunt across the boarder.

Max loves clothes.  He actually tried on clothes in a room for the first time today.

Max had his first karate class today.  His favorite part was when the kids had to fall on the ground.  He nailed it.
