Leaving the house and coming back home is officially a game!

90% of the time that Kira is in the car she is screaming.  This alternate activity is highly acceptable given the alternative.

"Kira can be the mommy and I can be the daddy!!!!!!" said the boy who runs the world.

Max's fixation du jour is getting a pair of flip flops.  Since he is currently flip flop-less he went on a shoe strike after school. This morning he woke up at 3:45am (not one second of an exaggeration) screaming, "No school today?! Let's go get my flip flops!!!!" We started a sticker chart for good behavior, but that must have slipped his mind in the wee hours of the morning.

Unfortunately our fun evening walk to the swing playground ended in too many mosquito bites to count.  Kira got it the worst, but Max took it the worst.  Her poor eye (ignore the breadcrumb mouth)!

The soccer obsession continues today.  Max really tried to show Kira how to kick the ball.

The thunderstorms never came and we had a blast at the pool this afternoon 

Guess who went down the water slide?  Daddy brought her up the stairs and mommy caught her.  She was pretty terrified, but she also seemed to like it.

Soccer boy

Max slept in his "soccer uniform" and woke up at 5:20am to request that his shoes be tied.  By no fault of his own, his soccer ball got lost at the game last night and grandma graciously bought him a big boy soccer ball at his favorite store.  Kira picked out a Minnie Mouse swimsuit that she snuggled with on the way home.  

Max was such a great big brother to this little one at Tot Shabbat

Kira liked the kiddie pool a little better than yesterday but once we moved the the big pool all she wanted to do was go down the water slide like Max.  This girl loves that guy!
