Brotherly love

Max was the poster child for a big brother tonight.  He was all about helping Kira walk, bringing her the walker, and cheering her on.  "Where's my sweet, sweet Kira-Belle?!" he says when he gets home from school (and wants to immitate mommy).

Filler' up

Kira can pretty much maneuver the whole playground, holding on or scooting around, she gets to where she wants to go.

Baby Buster Browns

Ring around the Rosie: early walker edition
(aka: new sweetest picture of these two)

Max loves to teach Kira everything he knows.  When she is not getting walking lessons she is learning about body parts.

"Mouth! <points to his mouth> Mouth Kira mouth!"
"Nose! <points to his nose> Nose Kira nose!"
"Butt crack! <jump, scream, cackle, slap his own tush>  HAAAAHAAAA BUTT CRACK Kira! Where's your butt crack!"

Kira wearing mommy's Buster Browns- she pulls off the 80s style and Max went nuts when he saw that Kira was wearing "lace shoes"

Kira took a few [forced] steps today, but mostly smile scooted the day away.

GOOD MORNING- from Max and Pawley

She did it!

She did it!  Kira took six steps (not that daddy was counting) all by herself this afternoon.

Kira took a few steps...

...a few times.  Then she got sleepy and needed a break to scoot.

Post-steps celebration!

Casual dinner

We went to the mall to see the Easter bunny, but Max was happier to see Sadie and Kira was happier to scoot her tush all the way to the play area.

Max and Sadie waited for the Easter bunny while their little sisters wanting nothing to do with the monstorous rabbit.

Kira must have climbed up the stairs and went down this slide 50 times.  She loved it!

So did these two!

I will not go near the Easter bunny but I will take a lollipop, thank you very much.

Max drew a basketball court and the locker room.  He also added daddy and him doing a tip-off.

Doctor Kira likes to give shots

"Let's go down!" Max screams every morning.

Kira and her training crew

Kira got chicken fingers for dinner but she only wanted mommy's salad, so of course she got it!

It was a beautiful afternoon to scoot around the mini golf course

Hole in one!

This scoot!

The chocolate at the end of the rainbow

The kids celebrated St. Patrick's Day with a little coin (CHOCOLATE!) hunt tonight.  They could not care less about leprechauns or rainbows, or even gold- give them all the chocolate coins!  And open them, too!

Timmy: "We are best buddies!"
Max: "Timmy! Timmmmmy! TIMOTHY!!"

"Ello! Ello! Ello!"

"This garbage is full!"
...hmm what should be do?
Side note- the shirt is back!

A few kids covered in a lot of chalk

Look at this Leo that Max [Adam] made!

Kira loved her Chick fil a balloon.  The lady gave her a pink one but Max insisted on her exchanging it for orange.  He further insisted on a "Leo" (translation: blue) balloon, at which point the lady probably regretted walking balloons over to our table on the first place.

Max scarfed down his dinner so he could try, "ice cream you can drink". He waited until after he was recovered from his tonsillectomy to finally try a milkshake.  "Isn't it so cool that you can drink ice cream?!"  Wouldn't it be cooler if Max left the straw in the cup instead of taking it out, licking it, dripping milkshake all over his clothes, crying about milk shake on his clothes, repeat x 20.

The great outdoors

We spent the afternoon outside and it was glorious!  "Remember that ice cream truck!!!!!???" Max exclaimed as he heard a delivery truck drive down our street.  Yes!  Start saving!

What are they thinking...

Kira: Max!  We are eating outside!  I am sitting at the picnic table!  This is the best day ever, but no, I still do not feel like walking.

Max: How many more kernels of corn should I eat before I resume SCREAMING for fruit snacks?  These Craisins are not cutting it.  What kind of fool does my mom think I am?

Mom: No crumbs on the kitchen floor!

Has anyone seen daddy?
