One size fits both
Perfect pair of bucket swings for this duo.
Max and mommy picked up Kira at Miss Miranda's and we stopped by the playground for old times. And new times!
This is more Max's speed these days, but it was nice of him to entertain Kira in the bucket swings for a while, too. She just loves being near him.

Brother-sister snack
"Kia! Hello hello HELLO!!!"
Max loves Kira and she absolutely loves him and cracks up at 95% of everything he does. The other 5% is comprised of shock from his insanity and crying from his bops and bow stealing.

Saved the best for last
Today is the "unofficial" end of summer and we ended it in the most summery way possible- with a trip to the beach! Who knew that there was a beach located an hour away from our door? Not us! After a quick, traffic-less (on a holiday weekend!!) drive, we arrived in North Beach, Maryland. We set up camp just feet from the water and Max swam like a shark for three hours! Kira ate sand for three hours! There were no meltdowns for three hours! It was the best summer day!
Two second snack break with Max's best beach buddy, Carter. Kira's personal pool was the perfect shelter from the sand.

Happy Birthdays
Two birthday parties in one day means a lot of fun celebrating with old friends. It also includes a full day of eating exclusively pizza and cupcakes.
Max wolfed down several slices of pizza pie, while Kira gobbled down the crusts. Timmy's birthday party was a great way to say goodbye to the pool for the summer.
Max was bubble-less (no floaty) for his last pool day of the summer. We told him the pool was closing and he was very understanding. That is until the next time he wants to go to the pool...

Somewhere over the rainbow
Max slept until 8am!! He showed daddy how to make a rainbow while Kira happily observed and semi-safely chewed on some larger pieces.
"This is my FAVORITE STORE!!!" Max proclaimed in the parking lot of TJ Maxx. He loves the escalator and trying on glasses. "I'm daddy!!" he said about this pair.
His sucker of a mother obliged his early Halloween wish and when he begged to take the show on the road, she agreed to that, too.
Max really wanted to go see firemen. We brought them pizza and Max did not even want a piece. The men were so welcoming and gave Max a tour of the firehouse and truck.
