Hide and go...

Play!
Max asked to go to Hannah's house all morning, so luckily he snagged an invite after camp and we headed over.  Ben, Hannah, and Max had a blast running around and playing tag and hide and seek.

While the big kids were running wild, these two babes chilled out.  It is hard to believe this time last year they were both in their mommies' tummies.

Girl time!

Max let mommy do half of her exercise video this morning, which would be great, except for that it was the "Ten Minute Trainer".

We never got around to these sparklers on July 4th, but of course Max got hold of them (and nearly matches as well) so we lit one up for fun early this morning.  Emphasis on early, because Max went to bed at 10pm last night, so naturally he was up at 6am.

The doctor is in

"Why did the doctor say I have a head ache?" Max asked.  "My head hurts!"

Teething and balling!

And of course smiling!

Comfy cozy

"Kira's touching me!!"

Never mind the trespassing

Peace is reading your sister a book

Not so comfy...

Nice and cozy

Water slide!

Max was not feeling well

All giggles!

Look at all of this hair!!

Happy Monday!

Monday morning mud walk

Kira does not crawl but she can wiggle and roll across the room if she sees a snack or toy (basketball!) she wants

Tried to hit force Max to nap, so naturally he fell asleep wrapped in a blanket with the lights on

Sweating and snoring...wake up!!

Bubbles, bubbles are so fun

Bubbles, bubbles, for everyone!

...and Max does not even like dogs

Ending the day the same way we started it- by taking a walk.  Kira was pleased.

Smiles by surprise

Max and Kira had fun at the fire truck playground this morning.

This accidental double smile was followed by an actual double nap!

"That was awesome!" said Sadie at the pool.

"Don't forget to get my helmet," Max reminded daddy when he got his bike.  Safety first!

"I want to play this myself!" (But no one leave. Watch me play.)

Basement fun

Stars, stripes, and smiles

Kira had a blast watching Max blast pop pops on the sidewalk

It was too windy to light the sparklers, but the pre-rain wind was perfect for a kite

It rained on our parade- literally- but Max was more than happy to go back to Chibis playground.  We learned our lesson (last rainy day we went it was full), and we were the first to arrive when it opened.

These two took two snack breaks during our 1.5 hour time allotment.  Max learned how to twist open an Oreo cookie.  Daddy was quite proud.  Kira was quite jealous.

Holiday weekend concert

Max and Kira started off the long holiday weekend with some holiday tunes.  Christmas carols!

Christmas in July!

Max helped daddy break in his new smoker.  The meat was delicious; Max asked to eat the "coal part".

Someone is on a streaking streak...
