12 hours after Max ate dinner with chopsticks he ate breakfast with them, too. The chopsticks were washed, the jersey was not. Funny boy also got caught red handed with daddy's missing bank card. The card went missing last night and after looking all over, daddy resigned to cancel it today. Max was playing store this morning with his toy cash register and handed mommy a very real looking bank card. "I got it from daddy's wallet!" Max said with a sly smirk. He probably wanted a reward for finding it.

Sleeping in on Saturday!!!!!
Kira and Max let mommy and daddy sleep until [DRUMROLL] 7am!!!!!! Out of disbelief and pure jubilation, a well-rested mommy gave Max the Derek Jeter jersey she had stowed away for him as a reward for...something spectacular. Kira, who has been waking up at 6am, but coos and plays in her crib until 7am, was more than pleased to receive her bottle.
The Lugnuts were down some players for today's game; they had 5 players to the opponents 10. Max helped out by fielding for the opponent a little while his team was up to bat. He only ran over to scream, "Mommy! I love you!" once during the game. Sweet ball player.
Braving more of her brothers ball playing. This time, the excruciatingly loud reinactment of 'the dive'.

Go high, or go home
Max and Kira enjoyed swinging in the cool sunny air. Kira was nice and warm and Max said he was, too.
Just when Max thought he had all of the cars that Timmy had...but thanks for sharing your awesome new 4-wheeler!

"Look at me I am so good on the monkey bars!"
"Look at Kira, she can sit up!"
Pear share

If you give a baby a spoon
...they give themself a blueberry face mask. After all, they are filled with antioxidants.
Self feeding at its finest
After Kira quit 'sit up school' she tried to scoot/swim
Dinner for four. Kira is located just out of the frame but devoured her dinner first. This can be attributed to her insatiable appetite, being strapped down to her high chair, and being spoon fed every bite of her meal. It could also be because she is pretty perfect all the time.

DC play date
We went to visit mommy's friends Jason and Mara and their kids Raya and Ari who were visiting DC from New York. Raya gave Max a squishy brain keychain from her daddy's conference. "What is it?" Max asked. When he was told it was a brain, like the one in his head, he was deeply confused, scratched his head (as if trying to get inside), and said, "but I don't see it!"
Max and Raya
This scale/sesaw ride was lots of fun, but Max and Raya did not weigh enough to make it move by itself
"We're comin to America..."
"Mommy, I'm teaching Kira to sing"
"Kira do you like my shirt?"

Box shorts
Max loves to wear "box shorts" like daddy. Boxers are not really the ideal undergarment for [newly potty trained] toddlers, but he almost fits into a child's extra small. Sometimes he insists on wearing boxers to school; he is only allowed to wear them if he wears his tighty Tommys underneath. Miss Miranda said she was laughing so hard when she saw what Max was wearing. He told her they were his daddy's boxers. Max is really into matching more than just boxers. Yesterday he made uncle change into his Yankees shirt so they could match. During a FaceTime call.

Beauty school
"It's meat time! Yeah!" Someone was excited for dinner. Max is obsessed with daddy cooking "barbecue beef", which is what he calls everything that comes off the grill.

Triathlon
Max went to swim lessons and his blastball game in the morning and then played mini golf in the afternoon. He was very tired at night, but not very sleepy.
Max had a great blastball game and played all three innings. Three innings may seem short but it is the perfect amount for three year olds. Max graciously stopped to give mommy a hug each time he ran to third base.
