Runaway bride

These are Max's "wedding clothes"

He begged mommy to put on her wedding clothes, but she kept her pajamas on and Kira became the runaway bride.

Can't keep his eyes off his new "rubber shoes".  He even noticed that the sole on these shoes is different than his friends.  How does he know what the bottom of his friend's shoes look like? Cross cross applesauce. 

Kira's maiden voyage

The Max and Kira both wanted to go on a boat once they were spotted at the farmers market.  So we did!

Two more pairs of sunglasses, stat!

Another day over 90 and Max wore 4 layers.  Until he took them off for the fountain and boat ride, thank goodness!

Friday

Pre-bedtime corn on the cob 

"That's Maxie's!" Kira says about everything that belongs to Max all day long.

Max wanted to be Kira's baby.  She was not interested in mothering him.

"Bunny!"  Kira loves bunnies ever since seeing them and Grandma and Pa's house.

Max was so excited to see Timmy and Des today!  The boys were out so late at Des's birthday party!

While Max was at camp, the girls went to North Beach!  The beach day was really fun, and the tear-free car rides were awesome!

Max requested the "Wedding Movie" again and hoped he would catch a glimpse of himself.  No dice.

Kira slept in these clothes (she has no shorts pjs and it is so hot!) and Max's sock-sandal combo is really something.

Perfect cure for the post-nap cranks; the perfect shirt for it, too!
