Minnie Mice take over North Beach

We had the best time at North Beach with Hattie and Jen!  Kira was uncharacteristiy good (not screaming and crying) on the long (1.5 hour) car ride there.  The way home was a slightly different (opposite) story.   She had so much fun that she did not want it to end.

Kira LOVES the ocean, so it is nice to have a beach option a little over an hour away.  It is just too bad she does not care for the pool a few steps from our house.

She's also loves this tunnel!  She asks daddy to take her to the tunnel all the time!  She just runs back and forth screaming and giggling at her echo.

Kira does not love the pool, but she was content to play with the pool toys, outside the pool, for an hour.

Super Sunday

This pig puppet has been lying around the house for years but it is Kira's new BFF.

While everyone on the street is sleeping in on Sunday...

Max really wants to take the training wheels of his bike so balance bike practice it is.  He does look a bit big for this bike.

Max ran inside the house and came back out riding Kira's dolphin.

So of course she snatched it back and rode it herself 

Puppet show car ride.  After being in the car a whopping five minutes Max declared the car ride was too long.  These two hate the car but they sure do love going places!

After 28 excruciating minutes in the car, Kira and her bff made it to Jake's birthday party

Max found a cape-mate because he certainly was not taking his off anytime soon.  Super Timmy and Super Max!

Every once in a while, all year round, Max will go off on a rant about how he wishes we had a chimney because Santa has no way to get in our house.  He is really serious about this topic.

Spilled bubbles?  No problem.  Soap + water = bubbles.  Pinterest recipe not required.

Washing their mouths out with soap and water will never be an effective punishment for these two. They seem to like the taste.

We spent the last THREE hours of the day at the pool, complete with dinner, and highlighted by Max making some new friends that are going into 4th grade.

Kira's pool highlight was dinner
