Super Sunday

This pig puppet has been lying around the house for years but it is Kira's new BFF.

While everyone on the street is sleeping in on Sunday...

Max really wants to take the training wheels of his bike so balance bike practice it is.  He does look a bit big for this bike.

Max ran inside the house and came back out riding Kira's dolphin.

So of course she snatched it back and rode it herself 

Puppet show car ride.  After being in the car a whopping five minutes Max declared the car ride was too long.  These two hate the car but they sure do love going places!

After 28 excruciating minutes in the car, Kira and her bff made it to Jake's birthday party

Max found a cape-mate because he certainly was not taking his off anytime soon.  Super Timmy and Super Max!

Every once in a while, all year round, Max will go off on a rant about how he wishes we had a chimney because Santa has no way to get in our house.  He is really serious about this topic.

Spilled bubbles?  No problem.  Soap + water = bubbles.  Pinterest recipe not required.

Washing their mouths out with soap and water will never be an effective punishment for these two. They seem to like the taste.

We spent the last THREE hours of the day at the pool, complete with dinner, and highlighted by Max making some new friends that are going into 4th grade.

We went to the library.  We saw our friends and life size stuffed animals.  We were too loud.  We paid a fine from before Max was born.  We left.

This one is a Minnie magnet!  She spots any size Minnie (or Mickey) from any distance.

Movie night

It was so hot outside after camp so we stayed cool inside for an early 'movie night'.  It went something like this: snuggle up on the couch, eat popcorn for 5 minutes, run around the house like maniacs not wanting to watch the movie, but certainly NOT wanting the movie to be shut off.  

Kira loves popcorn ("comb") and Max loves Hoosiers 

Our dinner picnic turned into a "pool party", courtesy of Max.  It was quite a seasonally appropriate take on the activity.

Good morning, from Max at 6:15am, in his "Hoosiers" outfit.  This is his warm-up suit and his uniform is underneath.  Basketball playing commenced immediately.

Kira insisted that this was, "MA! MA!" (Max!). We ventured to the farmers market at the metro but it was too hot, so we ran home to cool off.

Max's camp took a trip to Monkey Joes. He said he had so much fun.  He proudly self-reported that his shirt was too big BUT he did not cry.  Bravo!
