Favorite shirt day

Kira adores her Minnie shirt and plays with her belly all day when she wear it.  Max has been wearing his, "basketball shirt with a baseball on it" for over two years.  Of course his favorite shirt had to be white.

Solid start to the week

Timmy made an important announcement: "Me and Max are brothers and we're moving."

Siblings on strike

One is on a sleep strike and one is on a hunger strike.  Clearly they are both doing very well sans two essential life activities. 

Max woke up at 5:20 but since he no longer has to suffer the plight of earning stars to get flip flops, he relaxed in his room "for a long, long time" aka: 5:45am.

Kira has become the pickiest of picky eaters, so the fact that she stole an apple and ate a few bites of zucchini bread at the farmers market was a huge victory.

Leaving the house and coming back home is officially a game!

90% of the time that Kira is in the car she is screaming.  This alternate activity is highly acceptable given the alternative.

"Kira can be the mommy and I can be the daddy!!!!!!" said the boy who runs the world.

Max's fixation du jour is getting a pair of flip flops.  Since he is currently flip flop-less he went on a shoe strike after school. This morning he woke up at 3:45am (not one second of an exaggeration) screaming, "No school today?! Let's go get my flip flops!!!!" We started a sticker chart for good behavior, but that must have slipped his mind in the wee hours of the morning.

Unfortunately our fun evening walk to the swing playground ended in too many mosquito bites to count.  Kira got it the worst, but Max took it the worst.  Her poor eye (ignore the breadcrumb mouth)!

The soccer obsession continues today.  Max really tried to show Kira how to kick the ball.

The thunderstorms never came and we had a blast at the pool this afternoon 

Guess who went down the water slide?  Daddy brought her up the stairs and mommy caught her.  She was pretty terrified, but she also seemed to like it.
