Take her out to the ballgame

Get me on that field!

Sometimes baseball can be a bit boring...

Max was so excited for his tball game so we wore his uniform to school

Max busted out at 6am, but was coaxed back into his room where he waited until his clock actually turned green at 6:30.

Bed head

Kira enjoys working on her hair brushing technique, but sometimes she gets 'brush your hair' confused with [her favorite thing ever] 'brush your teeth'.

"It's green!"  It is!

Nope, not a doggie.

Little Kira needs some wheels

Always running after her brother

So happy that Kira is feeling all better today!

Sick x 2

Kira is sick and Max has pink eye.  Not the best start to the week, but on the bright side, it is not supposed to rain 24-7 this week.

Dancing can be dangerous (for Max)

Kira twirls her hands when she dances in the absolute cutest way possible.

Kira would sleep with her tooth brush if she could

"I listened!!!!" Max proudly announced this morning as he barreled into our bedroom, holding his new clock to prove he waited until it turned green to get out of bed.  Beginners luck?  Probably!  Also, the "wake time" was set to 6:30am, which Max will typically sleep until on the Monday morning after minimal weekend z's.  Still, great job, Max.

Shady

"Kira! You have rainbow glasses, too!"

Poor girl was still sick all day but that did not stop her from Baby Love jamming

Group hug at Avery's gymnastics birthday party! (Max is squeezed right in the middle). It was sweet seeing him with Riley and Avery again.

Can we stop smiling so I can start using this pen?

Double forking the heck out of a scrumptious Peppa the Pig cake

Max is obsessed with the rainbow pen in Avery's goodie bag.  He drew a picture of Jose, the gymnastics party teacher, and sung some wacky gymnastics song all evening.

Rainy days

Good morning from rain central

"This is a baby school!  This must be where Jake goes to school!" (Max frequently thinks that things he is too old for are for his younger friend, Jake).  Max pretended to be the teacher because he is so old!

Rainy day shopping is really starting to add up.  Max told daddy, "Mommy bought 20 dresses."  Not true!  No dresses, but lots for the tattle tale and his sister.

The mall had face painting; a Max dream come true.  He quickly closed his eyes to dream about it.

Kira played at home because the weather today was no place for someone under the weather

TGIF

We were about to head to the Town Center for dinner as a family, but poor Kira stood in the kitchen and started throwing up out of no where.  Needless to say she stayed back for a longggggg bath and Max picked up his two favorite buddies across the street to take Kira and daddy's places.

Clydes coloring sheets were perfect and almost made up for the fact that the pavilion was occupied by a private event, making biking during dinner almost impossible.

Luckily there was a sliver of space for the kids to bike/crash into unwitting pedestrians.  Everyone left sweaty and with lots of colorful drawings.

Nature ride

Early pick up = early ice cream pop snack

Kira ate her pop and Max is clutching the comb he snagged from picture day.

Bike ride in the woods

Deer sighting

Kira steered her way along the trail

If a tree falls in the woods...

Brooks in a box

Surprise!  It's raining again!

Post rain runaway

Pops!

Kira is all about holding the pop, not so much eating it

Max came home from school on Monday and could not stop taking about a new game he played. He insisted that the game has two key components- cones and trash.  One person stand on either side of the cones and throws "trash" into the other person's "yard".  It was actually pretty fun.
