TGIF

We were about to head to the Town Center for dinner as a family, but poor Kira stood in the kitchen and started throwing up out of no where.  Needless to say she stayed back for a longggggg bath and Max picked up his two favorite buddies across the street to take Kira and daddy's places.

Clydes coloring sheets were perfect and almost made up for the fact that the pavilion was occupied by a private event, making biking during dinner almost impossible.

Luckily there was a sliver of space for the kids to bike/crash into unwitting pedestrians.  Everyone left sweaty and with lots of colorful drawings.

Brooks in a box

Surprise!  It's raining again!

Post rain runaway

Pops!

Kira is all about holding the pop, not so much eating it

Max came home from school on Monday and could not stop taking about a new game he played. He insisted that the game has two key components- cones and trash.  One person stand on either side of the cones and throws "trash" into the other person's "yard".  It was actually pretty fun.

Follow that truck!

Bare feet, full bellies

One out of four feet are partially covered (in a sock).  When that truck comes calling, Max comes running (and Kira comes following).  Kira seemed excited to pick an ice cream pop, but she had no idea what she was doing other than pointing to a cartoon character on the side of a truck.  She carried her frozen bunny around until it started to melt on her feet (and she needed a diaper change).

Decisions, decisions

Max generously shared his ice cream with Kira.  He just could not understand why she was not as excited as he was.  Kira actually adores ice cream as much as Max, but the whole pop situation threw her for a loop.

Hi five, Sadie!

Game day!  After several games getting rained out, Max was ready to play!

Kira tried desperately to fall asleep in the car after Punims class but her crazy mom kept tickling her at every red light.

Kira loved snack today!  An "Israeli flag yogurt parfait", emphasis on yogurt!

On that farm...

...there were a couple of happy kiddos!

Max and Kira had a blast at Frying Pan Farm.  It was our first, of what is sure to be many trips, there this year.

Pigs!  Max said the new mommy pig was, "the most enormous biggest huge pig I ever saw!!!"  He was scared (but it might have been staged).  Oink!

"Mommy, you're a female and I'm a male!" Max proudly stated after he found out this was a male peacock.

Genetically predisposed to have a wide open scream-smile and a love for carousels

Max fed the goat, which Kira, of course, thought was a doggie.
