After cold and wet week, we were happy to welcome the weekend and the sun today!

Once everyone is actually dressed and accepts that it is,in fact, a school day, the race down the stairs is fun!

Max insisted on wearing [too small/tight] shorts and this "jersey" he found [and made his mom cut because it was too long] to school today.  Never mind he rolled around outside in in yesterday.

Max and Kira never touched these Potato heads until today.  They could not put them down, until Max out them to sleep.

The smile before the rain storm

We tried to enjoy every moment of this sun filled afternoon before the skies opened up.

The playground was crawling (literally!) with caterpillars.  Max prepared them a leaf feast fit for a caterpillar king and gathered as many diners as he could. "They have to eat their dinner and then play", said chef Max.

Max picked out flowers for Miss Juliette and Miss Angie for Teacher Appreciation Week

This morning was not one of those rare sleep past 6am mornings.  At least Mickey stepped in and brought an extra 15 minutes of calm.

Kira loves to color!  Max loves to color!  Thank you, Crayola (and random nameless restaurant crayons)!

Good morning!  Thank goodness for these headphones that were hiding under mommy's bed for a rainy, cold, 5am morning.  Lion King on the screen, Ninja Turtles on the ears.

Kira is jumping right into coloring and thankfully Max approved of the transition from magic markers back to Kira-friendly crayons.

This girl will go from eyes closed in bed to out the door, with a waffle in hand, in under three minutes.

Half of the time when this one wakes up he requires an exorcism, a show, several outfit choices, and a perfectly toasted waffle with accompanying bag of "sauce" (syrup).

Max said this is "Sky Walker".  Later on he wrote "Max loves Sky Walker" across the top of the page.  It really just said "Max" with some random scribbles, however he did a superior job tracing his mask.

Happy Monday!

5 isn't a crowd!  Let's look for more caterpillars! All afternoon!  Max kept finding different size caterpillars and saying that the small ones are babies, the big ones are daddies, and one on the deck looks like Simba (a lion).

Thank goodness for yogurt!

Kira is strictly observing Passover- just matzoh and yogurt for dinner.
