Max and Kira enjoyed the snow-free outdoors!

It was a real laid back afternoon once Max spent his birthday Toys R Us gift card on a Nerf gun.  He was generous enough to get two so that a friend [Pa!] could play/shoot/scream, too.

It was "Jersey Day" at Max's school, and while Max always wishes it was "PJ Day", he was excited that he and Miss Julietwere wearing matching Giants jerseys.

...but she 100% loves "talking" on the phone, so Max brought her all of her favorite items to play with while he made pizza.

Running skates

Today was the last day of Winter Break, part two (aka: snowstorm recovery).  

It was a beautiful 60 degree day!

Every year Max asks to go ice skating, but he usually only stays on the ice for a few minutes.

Max did a great job today!  His double blade skates made it easy for him to make his way around the rink, but he wanted to speed skate.  Instead he ran, and he only fell once.

Yay Kira, we did it!  We stayed up until 9pm and we still woke up at 6am!

Mall rats

We spent a wild Saturday night at the mall.

Max immediately stripped down to his shorts when we got the to mall because, "it's gonna be SO hot in there!"  That is a direct quote.

Max wanted to go into the hurricane simulator, and why not?  He was dressed  for hurricane season.  The real reason he wanted to go in was not just to haphazardly waste $2, but rather to invest $2 on making his hair extra spikey from the wind.

Max has been trying to climb to the top of the baseball bat and job off for years- and he finally did it!

...and fell in.  Luckily it was not filled with water, but it was filled with gravel...

"Baby sharks!" Max incorrectly exclaimed.  There were no giant fish at the mini aquarium, so it was a good thing that Max was content with these "baby sharks".

Thanks to the snowstorm, this entire week has basically been one gigantic weekend.
