When Max gets bigger...

Max's dots were in full effect and itching like crazy this morning, but after some more medicine he was back to his silly self.

On his way to camp, Max announced, "One day when I get bigger tomorrow when I eat all of my dinner, I'm going to go to work and I'm going to leave you."  That mostly-verbatim quote is curiosity of SIRI and a long list of hilarious Max-speak recorded on mommy's phone.

Monkey!

Kira was not a fan of the swing tonight.  Usually she enjoys it, but when she got home she had a second dinner, so maybe she was just hungry.

DOTS

Good morning, Sunshine!

Kira loves the remote!  Maybe she can teach Max to watch a show or two!

Max wanted to go to camp even though he was up all night itching his dots.

We stopped at the doctor before camp and got a steroid to give Max some relief.  When we got out of the elevator at the office he said, "That was a magic carpet ride!"

...even though he is still covered in dots.

But things are looking much better!

The dots did not stop Max from playing in the pool for almost three hours!

Polka dots and spots

Today started out great!  Max woke up happy, which is always a good sign for the day.  He had a bit of redness between his eyebrows, which looked like a bug bite and/or sunburn; both would be logical explanations.

We made pancakes...

We went to Target...

But after camp Max had some more redness and bumps, so we made a doctor appointment and went to Michaels for some "polka dot" markers.  Max automatically gravitates to anything sports-related, so of course he spotted the most sporty thing in the arts and crafts store.  "I need this because I am good!" he said, but settled for his markers.

While we waited for the doctor, Max discovered that mommy has spiders in her ears.  Thank goodness she went to see the doctor! The doctor said that Max is having an allergic reaction to an antibiotic he finished a few days ago.  Unfortunately it is the one that tastes yummy, but from now on we know to stay away.

All of that running around knocked him out!

We went to Chick fil A for dinner to distract Max from the red dots that were taking over his body.  The doctor assured us that he was not contagious, which mommy quickly conveyed to everyone who glanced Max's way.

He had a great time with the balloon man...

But Kira hated the balloons!  Now she is up to two dislikes- avacados and balloon creatures.  Such a short list for such a sweet girl.

Ice cream and mum mums for dessert

Max could not wait to use his polka dot markers, which is ironic considering that by bedtime his body was covered in polka dots!!!  He took an oatmeal bath, got [unwillingly] covered in anti-itch lotion, and guzzled Benadryl, so hopefully he gets some relief tonight.

Standing!

Kira went from not putting her feet on the floor, to standing (fully assisted), in days.  She loves to see the world from her new vantage point.

"Is she still a baby?!" Max asked when he saw Kira standing.  Yep [and so are you, Max]

Kira went to see Mr. Knick Knack this afternoon and we ran into Timmy.  Do not tell Max! He was at camp.

Double car nap for Max and daddy after camp

A totally unnecessary post-nap outfit change in honor of National Watermelon Day and this adorable outfit that had to be worn before it is too small.

Digging for buried snacks

Avery came over to swim...

...and dive!!!

By 7pm these kids were pooped! (Hopefully)

TGIS!

Thank goodness it's Sunday!  We had a lot of fun this weekend, but it was non-stop and super hot.

Are these pedicure flesh eating fish?  Nope, but Max is giving mommy a pedicure.

Max and Timmy had a lot of fun at the Frying Pan Park carnival.

Kira liked it a lot, too, considering her limited access to carnival fun.  Her fresh pseudo standing skills came in handy at the fishing game.

Shaved ice is just what the boys needed before they melted themselves.

Kira was tall enough for this ride!

Let's get the show on the road!

Cow car seat twins

The clapping is the cutest!

"Mommy I'm holding her..........Take a picture!!!"

"Mommy I like it [the new sheets]!"
