Farmers Market Wednesday
Threatening thunderstorms could not keep the Ansdel Court crew away from the market, or more importantly away from the ice pops.

Colorful car wash
Max said he did not like the car wash, but his facial expressions as the lights changed color, in the soapy tunnel, tell another story.

Knock-knock
Max cracked himself up by playing knock-knock with this bucket over his head. At least his head was protected from his knocks.

Max celebrates Memorial Day
Max has a love for all things American. When given the opportunity to pick any toys he wanted at the greatest and most affordable toy store around (the Dollar Tree), he selected an American flag and carried it around the store singing the Star Splangled Banner. The flag is proudly displayed by Max's pool, which has quickly become his favorite place to be.

Everyone into the pool!
Max, Ceci, Timmy, and Gracie could not have been more happy to pile into this pool, ice pops and all. This scene lasted nearly an hour- surely a record for keeping kids ages 1 to 4 contained AND content!
Add water and he will grow!

Polar plunge
The freezing cold water did not deter Max from hopping into the kiddy pool at Jake's house this afternoon. It was the perfect activity to burn off his energy after a three hour nap. Great day for all!

Take Max out to the ball game!
Max had a terrific night at his very first baseball game. He stayed for the whole game, although he only watched about two innings. Most of his time was spent jumping on the bleachers, facing the crowd and cheering, and playing catch/fetch with a tennis ball. The high (or low) point of the game was when Max [while facing the fans] pulled down his shorts and demanded a new diaper. We sung, Take Me Out to the Ball Game on the way home and read, Goodnight Baseball before bed. No doubt Max is dreaming of baseball, while wearing his baseball pjs to bed tonight.
Oakton victory!

"I am soaked!"
Seconds after Max got his diaper changed at a basketball game, he sat on daddy's lap and peed all over them both. "I am soaked!", David exclaimed. "I am soaked!", Max repeatedly parroted, through hysterical laughter.
